City of Asheville Parks with Picnic Shelters
Having a party in a park can be a very eonomical way to accommodate a lot of people for the least amount of money. You can bring your own food (or have it catered), plan your own entertainment, and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. While it doesn't cost anything to have a party in a park, we recommend renting a shelter, preferably with a table or two (you can always bring foldup tables and chairs) , just in case of rain. ".... Shelters are located at parks throughout Asheville. Rent a shelter at $30 for four hours, and $5 for each additional hour except where noted.
